Does South Park has any connection with Big Bang Theory?

Hey guys, I have not being touch with my blog in past few months but this time I could not take my hands off from my keyboard to write about an ally between south park and the big bang theory. I am so excited to share with you guys..

Let's talk about the similarities of the American Sitcom show characters. The total number of main characters in both south park and the big bang theory is 4. Stan Marsh in south park is believed to be a main character and in big bang its Leonard Hofstadter, both of them are similar as they always talk sense, good guys and everyone listens to them; the only ones who does not listen to them is Eric Cartman in south park and Sheldon Cooper in the big bang theory, who are most popular protagonist these shows. The main focus goes on them as they always decline other characters and comes up with their own selfish witty reason. The next two are so similar as both of them are Jews - Kyle Broflovski from south park and Howard Wolowitz from big band theory and they both are teased by Eric cartmen and Sheldon Cooper respectively. Last but not the least is Kenny McCormick and Raj Koothrappali, both of them are sympathetic and they speak less.

Other Similar Characters of the shows are Butters Stotch from south park and Stuart Bloom from big bang are kinda same characters, both of them are little coward, do not stand for themselves. Next is main characters of the show Stan Marsh and Leonard Hofstadter have admirable girlfriend who is Wendy Testaburger and Penny on the show respectively

Is it just a coincidence? Think about the similarities. Is it possible they have so much in common or its all called ectype?

As for me, why would I care, I just Love watching both the shows.

  1. Hey you!
I am sincerely impressed with this discovery, I just realized now !!!
I'm from Brazil, SP fan, here is rather displayed in the channels Comedy Central and MTV.
I'm working while "listening" TV on Warner Channel, which displays TBBT quite repetitively ( LOL !!!)
I suddenly had deconcentration in a boys scene at Comic Book Store, and unintentionally noticed the similarity between the shows and I associated SC as CE , LH as SM , HW as KB , RK as KM and SB as LS.
I began to laugh at myself , because the association was so natural that I was angry for not having discovered it before ...
I thought I was going crazy and googled some theory about it when I found your blog , with a very old post about it!
    Really cool!!!
I recognize that I did not associate any female character as you did with Penny and Wendy.
It's great to know I 'm not crazy and maybe Chuck Lorre is a very discreet plagiarist!
